Toronto Raptors Tickets

The Toronto Raptors were founded in 1995, and play in the Atlantic Division of the NBA's Eastern Conference. They are the only NBA team outside of the US, and along with the Vancouver Grizzlies were the first to play in Canada since the Toronto Huskies in 1947. They have yet to secure any titles.

The team made their first appearance in the playoffs in the 1999-2000 season. However as it was a new venture for the team, the Knicks knocked them out pretty quick. The team clinched a playoff berth easily the next season and beat the Knicks in the first round. The next series was against the Philadelphia 76ers. The team's performance was their best so far, entertaining and exciting play. Allen Iverson and other teammates made a strong team to contend with. It was a close series, coming down to the last seconds of the last game, and the team lost to the Sixers by one point. Despite this loss, the season is still seen as a high point for the team.

In the 2001-02 season the team worked on their defense, and from a record that plummeted down after a 17 game in a row loss, the team came back to win 12 of the last 14 games and secure a playoff spot. This miraculous comeback led to a deeper disappointment as the team would be eliminated in the first round of the playoffs.
